  • Clara Boggini, Erasmus University Rotterdam

    Clara Boggini is a PhD researcher at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her research focuses on the intersection between cybersecurity, EU law, and company's governance of risk.

  • Julia Kramer, Erasmus University Rotterdam

    Dr. Julia Krämer is a PhD researcher in Data Protection Law and Empirical Legal Studies at Erasmus School of Law in Rotterdam. She recently defended her PhD, which examines how app stores and operating system providers influence the GDPR compliance of mobile apps.

    Dr. Silvia De Conca is Assistant Professor of Law & Technology in the Transnational Legal Studies Department of VU Amsterdam, and board member of the Amsterdam Law & Technology Institute (ALTI) at the VU. She is the co-chair of the WG “Human Rights in the Digital Age” in the Netherlands Network for Human Rights Research (NNHRR) and the vice-chair of the IFIP WG 9.6/11.7 on Information Processing, Misuse and the law. Her research focuses on the legal implications of surveillance through IoT/smart home, interests include privacy and data protection, dark patterns, AI, and regulation of technology.

  • Sascha van Schendel, Erasmus University Rotterdam

    Dr. Sascha van Schendel is Assistant Professor of Data Protection & Cybersecurity at the Erasmus School of Law and the Erasmus Center of Law & Digitalization, of Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her research and teaching focuses predominantly on the use of AI and data by public sector actors and the impact on fundamental rights such as privacy, data protection, non-discrimination and fair trial. In addition, she researches EU cybersecurity law and data security and teaches Dutch administrative and constitutional law. She conducted her PhD in risk profiling by law enforcement and her post-doctoral research on AI in smart energy grids at the Tilburg Institute of Law, Technology, and Society (TILT) of Tilburg University.
